Agusti Torello Mata Rosato Cava Reserva 2014
Made from 100% Trepat, a local Catalan variety that is gaining fame for it’s high acidity and bright, berry fruit. This is delicious, with a beautiful salmon-pink color, a fresh and bright fruit de bois nose and a hint of mint. The palate is rich and dense with a great bead and remarkable structure. This spent 30 months on the lees before being disgorged in August, 2017. 6 grams dosage 5.5 acidity and 11.5% alcohol. Perfectly balanced, goes well with seafood, fish in sauce, rice and vermicelli, cold cuts and white meat and desserts made of delicate crème brûlée and fruit.
