Highland Park Magnus
Our founder, Magnus Eunson, was a direct descendant of the Vikings who settled Orkney long ago. Ever since, we’ve stayed true to his bold and uncompromising approach to whisky making, and his stoic belief that nothing worthwhile comes easy. In honour of our founder, we created this whisky.
Magnus has been predominantly matured in seasoned sherry American oak casks. The Spanish sherry used to season our American Oak casks is released as some of the finest quality sherry or distilled further into exceptional brandies, which means the flavours imparted during the whisky maturation process are bold, fruity, and intense.
The resulting profile is a complex balance of lemon, vanilla sponge cake, and caramelised pineapple overlaid with our distinctive, heather-rich aromatic peat smoke. A truly distinctive whisky.
