Kujira Ryukyu Whisky
From their dream-like home on the island of Ishigaki, the distillers of Taesen Shuzo have gifted the Okinawan community with handcrafted spirits since 1955. Now, they present the world with this limited-release taste of Okinawa, made from 100% Japanese long rice and native black Koji. Aged in Virgin American Oak surrounded by serenity and salty pacific air, the youngest of the celebrated Kujira Ryukyu line is mature beyond its years. Medium bodied and light copper in color, aromas of toffee and stone fruits complement a complex palate of caramel, plum and rich honey. Sip slowly—this whisky’s on island time.
