Singani 63 Brandy
From the manufacturer (and the crazy mind of Soderbergh probably): "Singani is the culmination of a 50-year privately funded project known as the Steven Soderbergh Adventure, the purpose of which is to identify the exceptional in all areas of human endeavor. A clear, mixable spirit distilled from the aromatic white Muscat of Alexandria Grape at heights nearing 6,000 ft. Singani 63 was created in the year 1246+284 (around 1530), and is known as the national drink of Bolivia, a moniker that was bestowed with absolutely no interruption in government services."
Classified legally as a Brandy, this is more like a high end Pisco. Fragrant, citrus, with hints of lemongrass and a wisp of menthol. Refreshing and clean, great sipper on the rocks or with a wedge of lemon and ice in a nice, cool cocktail.
