For decades, the Kumesan Syuzo Distilling Co. has been expertly crafting traditional Okinawa spirits made from Indica Rice and Black Koji. In 1989, a very limited amount of their liquid masterpiece was laid into Bourbon Casks, and thus began the ever-patient process behind this award-winning expression of Kujira Ryukyu Single Grain Whisky. 20 years later, this artfully-aged and medium bodied whisky whisks the nose with stone fruits and subtle spice. A buttery caramel backbone balances with oak and candied-mint flavors to ignite every sip.
